Transformation Haiku
It's poetry week at Butterfly Thoughts
The caterpillar
will become a butterfly
in its chrysalis.
Dissolving into
soupy liquid, then transformed
to flying beauty,
a miracle of life
occurs instinctively for
the caterpillar.
We can transform too,
if we dare. But the process
can seem difficult.
It takes courage to
choose transformation in life,
and embrace the change.
Authenticity
and vulnerability
are required actions.
Leaving part of you
behind makes transformation
look a lot like death.
But you will become
a butterfly yourself, free
to be authentic.
So take the challenge.
Find the courage within you,
and dance on the wind.
